Republic Commando Novels

I'm back with a new article :D. Since this Clan is active in Republic Commando, I thought it fitting to write about the books. Don't worry, I won't be writing about Star Wars forever ^^. So let's get this thing started shall we :O.
Republic Commando: Hard Contact
Hard Contact is the first book in the series and chronicles the first mission Omega Squad has after their disastrous infantry job on Geonosis. They are inserted into a rural, agricultural planet called Qiilura and tasked with destroying a nanovirus to which clones are especially susceptible, while at the same time abduct the virus's creator, Dr. Ovolot Qail Uthan. Upon reaching the planet, Omega Squad is forced to jump sooner than planned because their vessel has an unfriendly meeting with Qiilura's avian species. Because of this they are split up, three and one, with the single one having all the ordnance needed to complete the mission. What follows is a trek across the country whilst dealing with droids, the local militia, and civilians looking to make some quick credits. Even their apparent good luck in meeting up with a Jedi who has been undercover there ends when she admits to her inexperience. Find out the end for yourself ;).
Republic Commando: Triple Zero
Ten months after Geonosis, terrorist attacks in the Republic capital itself are becoming increasingly frequent. Sgt. Kal Skirata can't let this go on any longer. He calls in Omega and Delta Squad so they can have a few weeks leave—or so it's supposed to look to any outsiders; it's actually a cover-up for a shoot-to-kill black ops, aided by Kal Skirata's notorious Null Arcs. Operating in the city, amongst Republic citizens, their actions are limited, Omega and Delta Squad will have to go all out if they intend to make it through this mission unscathed. Tensions between Omega and Delta take a turn for the worst when Sgt. Walon Vau makes his appearance. Polar opposite to Skirata's loving father method, Vau believes in beating the survival instinct into his commandos. How will the commandos cope when they have to take care of a Separatist terror cell and Sgt. Vau?
Republic Commando: True Colors
Skirata is determined to track down Chief Scientist Ko Sai, the Kaminoan in charge of the clone project, and force her to engineer a normal lifespan for the clone soldiers. Skidding across star systems, Delta Squad has been ordered to apprehend Ko Sai by the highest authority, the Chancellor himself. How will things fare when Skirata and Delta Squad partake in a race with the highest stakes imaginable? Things aren't looking good as Skirata learns more and more info on Chancellor Palpatine's true intentions. Skirata makes up his mind and starts gathering funds for an escape route for any clone that decides he's not interested in a long-term career in the Grand Army of the Republic. The commandos are faced with a difficult predicament as they are forced to choose between their allegiance and their heart.
Republic Commando: Order 66
The war is coming to an end. Skirata's plan for a clone evacuation route is no longer a dream, but reality. The Separatists make their move against the Republic as they attack the capital itself. Omega and Delta Squad are recalled to defend Coruscant but only seven members ever reach the destination. Skirata decides to take advantage of the confusion of the battle to get his lads out of there, but the Republic's foundations are shaken when Chancellor Palpatine appears on every clone holocam and utters the words “Execute Order 66.” Allegiances are shattered as every clone on Coruscant engages his Jedi commander in battle without remorse or thought to past experiences with them. The commandos, who are engineered with more freewill than other clones, don't know what to do when they are ordered to kill some of their best friends. Skirata forces his plan through and eventually succeeds in evacuating the commandos and his Null Arcs, but at a terrible price.
So those are the novels :). I tried to give a good summary but unfortunately I don't have the Dragonball Z narrator's flair. Either way, I hope this got you interested in reading the books. Expect more articles from me in the near future :D.
